Comment: We used the internet to get a bid on an F-250 in 2002, and the process could not have been better. The sales associate for internet sales ONLY did internet sales, and after submitting a quote via email for a custom-build F-250 (no phone calls), he followed it up with a no-pressure sales meeting. At the meeting, several of the option packages we had wanted had been mistakenly left off his quote, and I suspected an "upsell," but instead he added the options...and still stood by the original price. When the truck came in, it was ready and gorgeous, washed and waxed, all the protective materials removed, and needed us only to work with the finance officer to close the deal. We were prepared to pay cash, but the finance officer asked if he could pitch loans to us. We said sure, he did a real-time credit check, and offered an awesome financing deal. No pressure on weatherproofing, and only a minor effort on the extended warranty. We were in and out in less than 1 hour for the entire deal. An awesome experience. I dread going into some dealerships, but I would purchase a car or truck from these folks again (using the same internet approach) in a heartbeat if I still lived in Albuquerque!
